The National Trust for Scotland is the independent charity.

The charity protects and shares some of our country’s most precious historic places and natural landscapes on behalf of the people of Scotland. With over 380,000 members they are the largest membership organisation in Scotland.

The Ayrshire and Arran region needed help with social media engagement to help increase sales of events at their three properties Culzean Castle, Brodick Castle and Robert Burns Birthplace and Museum.

How we helped

Marketing Mavens managed all the Ayrshire and Arran properties social media channels

We managed all the properties social media channels (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) posting content 3 times day 7 days a week. We create new social media assets and social media content with the main purpose to attract followers to sign up for events.

Results

Over a 6-month period we achieved the following:

  • Achieved 12,000 social media engagements in 12 months
  • Increased Brodick Castle following from 0 to 4,000
  • Sold out many events from social media
  • Social sentiment increased and remained positive
